MICROSYS with Dynamic Development
The only trade fair for microsystems technology and ultra-precision manufacturing with an expanded spectrum of topics and strong growth in exhibitor numbers
Frickenhausen, 7 December 2005 – The 3rd MICROSYS will once again be the industry event of the year when it opens its doors at the Sinsheim Exhibition Centre from 9 through 12 May 2006. With farsightedness and great commitment, private trade fair promoter Paul E. Schall has once again succeeded in developing an important future market from small beginnings in a very short period of time, thus generating growth. Whereas other various trade fairs concern themselves only with specific segments of microsystems technology and nano-technology, hardly touching upon the extremely important field of ultra-precision manufacturing, MICROSYS is the only cross-technology event to present the entire process sequence from R&D to functional testing of microsystems components, assemblies and systems.
MICROSYS – Highly Dynamic in all Areas MICROSYS project manager Alexander Paul is already announcing outstanding dynamics with regard to bookings 6 months before the event opens, for which 70% of the floor space occupied during the previous year has already been reserved. Almost all of the previous exhibitors will return, as well as the technology and market leaders, and the same applies to the educational and research institutes. As has also been the case in past years, the NC-Gesellschaft (NC society) will once again be responsible for technical direction of the central field of ultra-precision manufacturing. The society is an absolute pioneer in this area, and is positioning and promoting the topic at an international level. Consequently, the NCG forum for ultra-precision manufacturing will take place again at the 3rd MICROSYS, providing expert visitors from near and far with a close up look at technologies, alternatives and options, as well as machines and tools for economic precision parts production both in theory and in actual practice.
Additional Service for Exhibitors: the Virtual Trade Fair In order to do justice to the rapidly growing area of microsystems technology in motor vehicles, the 3rd MICROSYS will feature a special automotive zone which will initially present the offerings of corresponding suppliers on roughly 1300 square feet of exhibition floor space. In addition to this, there’ll be a large Swiss communal booth which will demonstrate the world renowned performance of Swiss manufacturers in the field of precision engineering to the expert visitors. However, the MICROSYS will not only function as a driving force for new markets, it will also provide for new prospects with regard to the marketing of products and services. For example, the “virtual trade fair” will be offered to all exhibiting companies as an additional service which assures presence all year long by representing the individual exhibitors and drawing them to the attention of interested parties (www.schall-virtuell.de). Beyond this, the new online ordering system underscores the innovative spirit of trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH, because it facilitates all aspects of trade fair organisation and allows for complete trade fair order processing online.
