The trade fair for micro-systems technology and ultra-precision manufacturing is establishing itself as the information, communication and procurement platform.
Frickenhausen, 22 February 2006 – While the winter Olympians are still competing for medals, the 3rd MICROSYS, which will take place from the 9th through the 12th of May at the Sinsheim Exhibition Centre, is already way out front moving down to the finish line. And project manager Alexander Paul is not only able to register enormous growth with new exhibitors, who will also offer their products and services at the virtual trade fair (www.schall-virtuell.de). He’s also proud to announce the results of exhibitor and visitor surveys conducted by an impartial organisation at the last MICROSYS.
Ideal Target Group Orientation MICROSYS provides the right setting for the presentation world’s first new products. A large portion of the surveyed exhibitors (42.6%) have confirmed this statement. The number and quality of attending expert visitors were also rated as very good (2%), good (28%) and satisfactory (28%), which was manifested to a great extent in post-event business which proved highly satisfactory for many of the exhibitors. With regard to the visitor survey, an evaluation of the respective facts and figures has revealed that private trade fair promoter Paul E. Schall has once again scored a bull’s-eye with the range of topics covered by MICROSYS. No less than 93.35% of the randomly selected expert visitors indicated that they were very satisfied with the trade fair and information offerings, and that their expectations have been entirely fulfilled. Due to the fact that there’s no other trade fair anywhere in the world which concerns itself with the entire process sequence for microsystems technology and ultra-precision manufacturing, special importance is attributed to MICROSYS – a fact which has also been confirmed by the expert visitors. 12.95% of the visitors came from the fields of micro-machinery, device and equipment manufacturing, 16.87% from metalworking and 17.17% from automobile and vehicle manufacturing firms and suppliers to the automotive industry.
The offerings have to be taken to the market … And MICROSYS has not only already attained special status with regard to information and exhibition offerings, the catchment area is ideal as well. 44.97% of all surveyed expert visitors indicated that they came from a radius of between 101 and 300 km, and 27.22% travelled to MICROSYS in Sinsheim from the immediate surroundings (25 to 100 km). In keeping with the time-honoured motto of taking the offerings to the market, and not forcing the customers to go to the supplier’s place of business, MICROSYS is ideally located in the midst of German and European technology enterprises, and above all has positioned itself in a thematically precise fashion. The right target groups are represented at the event for all relevant interest groups – no more and no less – and that’s what distinguishes a technical trade fair.
